2012 Alleva-Coppolo LG5 Classic Supreme Limited - Certified Pre-Owned
This is a one-of-a-kind Alleva-Coppolo LG5 Classic Supreme Limited with a Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard and a Dakota Red Professor finish.
This bass was originally built especially for Dave Boonshoft of Aguilar, and had Aguilar electronics. HOWEVER, it has just been completely refurbished by Jimmy Coppolo as follows:
- Installed Alleva-Coppolo pickups and Preamp
- Installed new Alleva-Coppolo logo bridge
- Level, crown and polish the frets
Since Jimmy just did all this restoration work, he is giving it a full new bass warranty except for the paint.
It has a lightweight alder body and a spectacular fingerboard.
It is set up with nice low action and plays flawlessly with no buzzing anywhere up and down the neck. The frets are 100% perfect and show no signs of wear. The finish is beautiful, and so is the very highly figured Brazilian Rosewood board. There are some very light signs of age and gentle use, much less than expected for a 9 year old instrument.
The neck feel is sublime - the very best of what Alleva-Coppolo is so famous for.
Best of all, it weighs only 8 lbs. 14 oz.
The bass will be shipped by FedEx fully insured, in a brand new Alleva-Coppolo gig bag with the adjustment tools.
Optionally, it can be shipped in a new Fender Rectangular hardshell case if desired.
Free shipping to Continental USA.

A new bass like this would cost $9,100 today.
But there is no more Brazilian Rosewood available at this time, and it's uncertain whether any more will be available in the future.
