2014 Dingwall Super J 5-string with Wenge Neck and Glockenklang preamp

For sale on consignment is this pre-owned Dingwall Super J 5-string built in October, 2014.
 
This pre-owned Super J  has an alder body, wenge neck and fingerboard, and white pearloid block inlays and matching white pearloid pickguard.
It has a pair of great sounding FD3 pickups and a Glockenklang 2-band preamp. 
The chrome hardware paired with a gloss back finish is a classy and timeless look.

The bass is overall in perfect mechanical and electrical condition. I cleaned and polished the frets, oiled the fretboard, put on a fresh set of Dingwall Nickel strings, and set it up to factory spec. It is playing great, and it sounds fantastic. The bass has been gigged, and there are a couple fairly deep dings on the front of the body near the controls, and some minor dings and scratches on the upper horn, which help to make this bass more attractively priced than it would have been in pristine condition.
 
The new price today for this bass would be $5,425 as configured.
It is being offered here at a 26% discount from that price, reflective of the cosmetic imperfections.
 
As priced, the bass comes in its original Levy's gig bag, which is in passable condition, but not great. It was stored in a basement, so it is musty and may have some mildew stains. Also, the zipper to the large outside storage compartment is broken. If you would like to substitute a nicer case,  I have many options available, including rectangular hardshell and soft cases as well as various grades of gig bags. We can work out the pricing based on which case option you select.
