Bluesman Vintage DeVille Custom - Dakota Red Heavy Relic
New Bluesman Vintage DeVille Custom (Post Modern P bass) 4-string
This awesome DeVille P bass was built on a custom order with a Jazz style neck with a 1.5" nut width and a nice dark rosewood fingerboard.
It has a Dakota Red Nitrocellulose Lacquer finish that clearly shows the years of heavy use that this bass is about to experience in the hands of its lucky new owner.
The tone is full-on vintage P, with Bluesman Vintage's own outstanding custom designed split P pickup, and the neck feels exactly like my favorite Custom Shop '64 Jazz Reissue, which is to say that it's a nice smooth round C shape that is thick enough to let you know you are holding onto something, but not so thick that you can't comfortably wrap your hand all the way around it. The finish on the back of the neck is worn smooth for maximum comfort and minimum friction. Once you start playing this one, it's might tough to stop. It feels and sounds sooooooo good.
After testing this bass out for several minutes, I decided to order one for myself just like it.
