Dingwall Afterburner II - the World's Lightest Dingwall

I'm pretty sure this has to be the lightest bass Dingwall has built so far, at just 6.7 lbs.

It's an Afterburner II with an Alder body, with a Northern Ash top over a flame maple contrast layer, and just a single FDV pickup in the neck position.

So it only needs a volume and tone, but has also been routed for a battery compartment for additional weight savings. It has a wenge neck and fretboard, with white pearloid block inlays and blue luminlay side dots.

The ceruse finish has pink grain filler and trans pink on the contrast layer, against a gloss trans black background.

This was a very special build, and is not currently something that can be ordered again.

However, if you would be interested in any sort of custom non-standard configuration like this, please contact me and let me know what you would want. I am keeping a list, and if there is enough interest in a particular configuration, Dingwall might consider doing it.
